Appadio is a quiet journal of the people you care about, and the projects you do with them. What you put in is yours. This page says what Appadio keeps, why, and what it never does.
What Appadio keeps
- Your email address, to send you a sign-in code.
- What you add: people, notes, Projects, to-dos, files and your settings.
- One small cookie that keeps you signed in. No ad or tracking cookies.
How it is kept safe
In private storage that only Appadio can reach. It is locked (encrypted) on its way to you, and backups are locked too.
Google Drive
You can add files from your Google Drive to a Project. When you connect Google Drive:
- Appadio asks Google for one permission: to see only the files you pick. It never sees the rest of your Drive.
- For each file you pick, Appadio keeps its name, type, link and a small preview picture. It never changes or deletes your files.
- Appadio keeps your Google email address, to show which account is connected.
- Appadio keeps a key from Google, so you do not sign in each time. The key is locked (encrypted) and never shared.
- Disconnect any time on You. Appadio tells Google to cancel the key and deletes it. You can also remove Appadio in your Google Account.
Your Google data is never sold, never used for ads and never used to train AI. Nobody at Appadio reads it, unless you ask for help, or safety or the law needs it. Appadio’s use of information from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use rules.
Who else helps
- An email service sends the sign-in code.
- A hosting service carries the site to you and keeps files and backups.
- Google, only when you use Google Drive.
Each gets only what it needs for that one job.
What Appadio never does
- Sell your data or show ads.
- Read your SMS or call logs.
- Share your people with anyone.
Your choices
Delete anything you added, any time. To get a copy of everything, or to delete your account and all of it, write to appadio.build@gmail.com. It is done within 30 days.
Changes
When this page changes, the date at the top changes. A big change is told to you in Appadio first.
